GBU Chieti-Pescara

We thank God that:

  • He’s allowed us to start up meetings regularly.
  • The group is growing.
  • A girl has come back to find us.

Since the coffee shop where we used to meet has closed, we used a University lecture theatre at Pescara last week. We’re praying God would allow us to keep visiting the satellite in order to form good relationships with students.

We thank God that GBU Chieti-Pescara has started up again after a few years, and we’re encouraged by the support of local churches. There are currently only a few of us involved in the meetings, but we’re trusting God that the group will grow. As numbers are low, meetings aren’t always regular.

Prayer

This is the reason why we’re asking for prayer for other students to get to know the GBU and join in the meetings.

  • Thank God that, despite the various difficulties we had this year, He answered our prayers by making it clear that we had to carry on sharing Jesus from student to student in the university, even though there were only 2 of us.
  • Praise God that a student is interested in hearing about, and studying the Bible.
Prayer
  • For us student leaders that we would manage our time better between our university commitments and those of the GBU.
  • Pray that those who showed an interest whilst we were talking about the Gospel would have a direct encounter through the Bible.
