Praise
At GBU Siena, we kicked off with an ‘aperitivo’ event and also explained what the GBU is. Then we started up our GBU cafè where we’ve been studying John’s Gospel. Leading up to Christmas we’ll have 5 GBU cafè sessions, all on John’s Gospel. On 31 October we held an evening event with a pumpkin pie and Giovanni talked on the topic of Light in this world (Halloween seen through the context of the Bible etc.). On 14 November we’ll be holding an evening event at the university’s astronomical observatory as we did last year. An academic from the observatory will explain the celestial bodies to us and we’ll also be able to use a telescope. We’ll finish up with a Christmas meal.
Pray
- This time we’ve got more non-believer students so we thank God for having brought them along to GBU Siena.
- Pray that God would continue to bless us with all the resources we need and that this time we’d be able to put on the exhibition of the Bible at the university.
- Pray also for each of the students who come to the GBU and for our staff and our student leaders, Monica and Feba.
