  • Spiritual and numerical growth of the group.

  • For the event we would like to arrange over the Christmas period.

GBU Florence

  • Lots of new people, both non-believers as well as believers, among whom there are several international students.
  • For the new staff member and a fair few active members.
  • For having found other places where we can meet for the studies and events.
Prayer
  • For the non-believers who are interested in coming regularly.
  • For the student leaders and more active members: that we’d work well to do His work and invite our non-believer friends.
  • For the end of semester event (in mid December).

GBU Chieti/Pescara

  • Thank God that, despite the various difficulties we had this year, He answered our prayers by making it clear that we had to carry on sharing Jesus from student to student in the university, even though there were only 2 of us.
  • Praise God that a student is interested in hearing about, and studying the Bible.
Prayer
  • For us student leaders that we would manage our time better between our university commitments and those of the GBU.
  • Pray that those who showed an interest whilst we were talking about the Gospel would have a direct encounter through the Bible.

GBU Palermo

First of all we thank you all for the prayers we know you directed to God in regard to GBU Palermo.
This new year began with some additional expectations.

Praise
  • For our desire to go deeper in His Word and in prayer.
  • Because a pastor of a church near to the university allowed us to be able to meet inside the building for our prayer meetings.
  • For our tireless student leaders, Elisabeth and Miriam (the new leader)
Prayer
  • To find a teaching room in the university, as that would be easier for inviting other students. Sadly, we haven’t yet found a teaching room where we can hold the studies, in fact we’ve been meeting in a cafe like we did last year.
  • For the outreach events we’d like to hold at the university.
  • For the outreach week we’d like to arrange in April together with a team of Irish students.
  • for Domenico, our staff member who will introduce the GBU in Messina on 3 December to try to get a GBU group started up there as well.

GBU Milan State Institute

  • For the enthusiasm of the group of believers and that non-believers are regularly joining in.
  • Because we’ve found excellent places where we can meet.
Prayer
  • That God would give us the wisdom and ability to share His Word.
  • That non-believers who come to our meetings would convert.
  • To help us always remember why we’re doing what we’re doing.
