This year we celebrated Christmas also on 25 January: this meant we got double the number of presents!! Aside from this, it was an event which lots of non-believers attended and to whom we wanted to relay that Christianity is not only linked to particular moments of the year when we go to church with our family and then go home to gorge ourselves on food.
Praise:
- Over the following months we have arranged another two mission events (a film discussion forum about the film “The Invention of Lying” and an aperitopic). At the latter event specifically, we were honoured and delighted to collaborate with a group of young OM missionaries who shared their experience of faith on board their ship, Logos Hope which has reached over 150 countries in the whole world.
- Another praise point is the conversion of an atheist young man who was reached by one of our female coordinators in the Faculty of Mathematics.
Prayer:
- We have only just recently restarted the Bible studies in the various university locations and we still need God to push students to read the Word.
- We will shortly start organising a mission week at the beginning of May. Pray that God will give us all the resources we need and prepare the hearts of the students.
