GBU Rome

This week, in collaboration with the Gideons, we distributed copies of the New Testament and Psalms in the Roma Tre University. Pray for all these people reached, that the Lord would touch their hearts and new students would join the GBU meetings. We also give thanks for how the Lord worked on past occasions of New Testament distributions.

We’re also grateful for all the students who took part this year, new and old alike, because more and more of them are wanting to be actively involved in sharing the Gospel.

We’re praying for and giving thanks for a student at Tor Vergata University who, precisely following a New Testament distribution last May, has begun coming along continually to the GBU studies and always bringing his friends with him.

GBU Milan

Hi, in GBU Milan we are experiencing a new group asset, as the various local groups are working together with more exchanges and meetings all together.

We thank God for allowing us to renew our association in Bicocca, and for a first meeting comprising numerous people.

We also thankful that God gave us the opportunity to witness to Him, by means of a personalised stand at the State University Open Day. We also say thanks to God
for all the other activities we’re carried out, including surveys, prayer meetings and various trips out.

Finally, we’d like you to help us pray for the other activities we’re planning to run:

  • The evangelistic Christmas event
  • The tourist outing on 4 December (with the intention of creating greater ties among us and inviting along new people)
  • greater ability to know how to nurture the friendships in the group

GBU Turin

  • That we started the year enthusiastically, in person;
  • For “seeker” students, who are getting close to God through the various activities and
    through the socials;
  • For the student believers who continue to collaborate with the GBU with hearts for God.
Prayer
  • Pray for unity and growth in the group, that this would be the result of the students’ personal growth;
  • Pray for the committee, the GBU steering group, that we would grow as a team and work well this year, glorifying Jesus;
  • Pray for the new people we’re meeting, that the Lord would speak through us and our
    activities into their hearts, leading them to Him.

GBU Turin International

We had a joint evangelisitc event with the Italian speaking GBU on Thursday the 24th and over 100 students from the university came along! Many wanted to have follow up conversations and learn more as well.

Prayer

The international GBU is moving to a building which is currently under renovations. Pray that everything will be working for when we start up GBU in there next week!

Prayer for our Christmas event on the 13th of december, that the students will feel loved and will be able to hear and understand the Christmas story!
